Frequently asked questions

What should I expect from my visit?

To provide individualized care, I will conduct an initial assessment with detailed information about your personal and family medical history, presenting issues, lifestyle, habits, and diet. At the end of each visit, you will receive a treatment plan designed to address each of your health concerns. After your initial consultation, we will determine the frequency of visits that meet your needs and lifestyle. We will also decide upon any functional lab testing or other diagnostics. *Lab testing and certain treatment modalities are an additional cost.

How long should I expect to see improvement?

Naturopathic medicine addresses the underlying root cause of your issues, therefore, we are not working on strict palliation to put a band-aid on your symptoms. Because of this and the fact that it has taken years to develop a disease process, please expect to work together for a minimum of 3-6 months as we start to see progress. It is common to notice improvement before that time, but please allow more time since everyone heals at a different pace.

How much is the investment per visit? Do you offer packages?

Initial visits are billed at $300 an hour. Follow-up visits are typically 30 minutes. Packages of three follow-up visits are $400 with a savings of $50. Testing and treatment are not included in packages. If you are unsure if a visit is right for you, you can schedule a complimentary 15-minute phone call here.

Do you take insurance?

Currently, Naturopathic Doctors are not in-network providers for insurance companies in Massachusetts. However, we can provide you with documentation to submit to your insurance company to attempt to receive compensation.

What testing do you offer?

I routinely use a variety of functional testing such as food allergy and sensitivity testing, comprehensive hormone testing, organic acids, and others to help gain a better picture of your health. We will determine which testing will be the most helpful for you and your needs. Typically, functional testing is not covered by insurance. However, some bloodwork may be covered. Please check with your insurance provider to learn more about your coverage.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please let us know 2 business days in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. If the visit is canceled under 48 hours, there will be a late cancellation fee. Thank you for your understanding.
