Dr. Elias uses evidence-based medicine, functional lab testing, and knowledge from Eastern and Western disciplines to arrive at answers to health issues. She works to find the root cause of a problem and to find connections among symptom pictures.

 

Naturopathic medicine is a comprehensive system of care that combines modern science with the body’s innate wisdom to heal. Guided by the six principles of First Do No Harm, The Healing Power of Nature, Identify and Treat the Cause, Doctor as Teacher, Treat the Whole Person, and Prevention, Naturopathic medicine promotes the use of the least invasive therapies possible, and views the human body as a whole.

Diagnosis includes identifying the underlying cause of the disease, while treatment is evidence-based and comprises aspects of conventional medicine, phytotherapy, homeopathy, clinical nutrition, psychology, pharmacognosy, and Eastern medicine.

The consultation to begin Naturopathic care covers health history, diet, movement, stress, sleep and rest, mindset and self-talk, self-care, mental health, and energy.

Utilize Tools and Set Goals

We will utilize any necessary lab work, functional testing, food logs and apps, journaling, and other means to track your progress. Once we set an appropriate goal(s), the work will be focused on achieving those goals.

One-on-One Relationship

You will have as much access to my help and support as you need. We will work closely together to tailor the treatment and troubleshoot any issues along the way.
