Do you have anxiety.. and gut issues?

Stress, anxiety, and depression can reshape the gut microbiota's composition via stress hormones, inflammation, and other means. The gut microbiota, in turn, responds by releasing metabolites, toxins, and neurohormones that can alter behavior and mood.

Gastrointestinal distress means:

Inflammation and this inflammation causes the release of cytokines (inflammatory proteins) and neurotransmitters. We now know that increased levels of these directly correlate with symptoms of anxiety and depression.

What can we do??

1. Eat Whole Foods, with a diet rich in omega 3's

2. Eat fermented foods

3. Drink bone broth

4. Balance blood sugar

5. Meditate and/or breath work

6. Yoga or walk daily

7. Sleep 7-9 hours each night

You may, however, need additional help with gut healing and stress management. I experienced this myself and have been helping others to do the same. We are designed to heal, we just need to know how to do it. If you need help, don’t hesitate to reach out. I got you!

Please take care of yourself!

xoxo,

Dr. Alia
